Esports: Pisa confirms BeSports 2021 champion

The Pisa of Carmine Liuzzi (Pisa_n17x) and Salvatore Di Giacomo (Sasinho_DiGiac) is confirmed for the second consecutive year BeSports 2021 champion. The Nerazzurri beat Spal WeArena in the final. The official league B championship has also been confirmed for the third edition, also thanks to the excellent ratings recorded by this edition.

Pisa is crowned champion of the second edition of BeSports, the official e-sports championship of Lega Serie B organized by WeArena played on eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021.

The trophy remains under the Tower thanks to a ride that saw the Tuscans first reach second place in the group stage (group B), earning access to the Final 12, to then get the better of the quarterfinals against Cremonese and remove the pass for the final thanks to the victory in the semifinal over Salernitana. The Spal WeArena title race, which had closed the regular season with the first place in group A, continued with the successes against Venezia in the quarterfinals and against ChievoVerona in the semifinals.

With the participation of 38 players representing 19 Serie BKT clubs and a total of 120 matches played, the second edition of the official Serie B e-championship organized by WeArena closes the virtual sports season with a total coverage of over half a million contacts reached between the social channels of Lega Serie B and the Twitch channel of WeArena, an even more sensational figure if you add it to the one and a half million coverage and almost 6 million impressions obtained on the official channels of the main sponsor BwinTv.

At the end of the Final, it was also announced that WeArena will organize, together with Lega Serie B, the third edition of the BeSports tournament, scheduled for the 2021-2022 season.
