John Cena's return to WWE announced

The news was anticipated exclusively by Variety and then confirmed by WWE itself. John Cena will return to the SmackDown ring in the last episode of 2022 scheduled for Friday, December 30 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The former champion won't be engaged in a match, but he will certainly have something to say in view of the new year.

John Cena returns to WWE, he will be present on SmackDown< /h2> It will be the second, and last, appearance of John Cena in WWE within a tightrope 2022. He was in fact back last summer in an episode of Monday Night Raw to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of his debut, also making himself the protagonist of a backstage segment with Austin theory. Many think that his appearance on SmackDown could lead to his entry into the Royal Rumble and then build a match at WrestleMania 39.

Mark your calendars, @JohnCena is coming back to #SmackDown on December 30th !

John Cena's 2022 was marked by cinema and the small screen, especially with Peacemaker, the HBO Max series released at the beginning of the year and which saw him reprise his role of the anti-hero who had already appeared in The Suicide Team . The show, directed by James Gunn, has met with great success on the platform and has been renewed for a second season (currently still safe despite numerous changes at the top of DC). John Cena would seem to have found his ideal role, interpreting it to perfection and demonstrating great attachment to the character to the point of appearing on talk shows and events wearing his stage costume.
