Jujutsu Kaisen 2 has a release date ! The news is absolutely official and was announced during the Jump Festa 2023 event, which was held a few hours ago.
This wasn't just a verbal announcement, we also showed a brand new teaser trailer for the second season of the anime; the peculiarity of this video, however, is the fact that not only has the release date of Jujutsu Kaisen 2 been announced, but a new character has also been presented!
The Jujutsu Kaisen 2 teaser reveals the release date
The first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime premiered in October 2020 and consists of a total of 24 episodes. Crunchyroll has streamed the anime outside of Asia, and will also distribute the second season. The realization of the animated series is by the MAPPA studio, also known for its work on series such as Dorohedoro and the final season of the Attack of the Giants. There is also an animated film that serves as a prequel to the events of the series, namely Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which was released in Japan in December 2021. We remind you that the animated film mentioned is available on the Crunchyroll platform on September 21, 2022 , as well as the first series dubbed in Italian.Jujutsu Kaisen 2 will make its debut in July 2023. The second season of the anime will be broadcast in two different cour, thus covering a total time frame of six months, and will adapt two several narrative arcs, namely Kaigyoku / Gyokusetsu and that of the Shibuya Incident.

The manga Jujutsu Kaisen: Sorcery Fight by Gege Akutami was published for the first time on March 5, 2018 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and later the individual chapters were collected and published in tankobon (currently 20 in Japan).The first volume was released in Italy in October 2019 thanks to the Planet Manga publishing house and the work currently consists of 17 volumes.
