The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is reliving a thriving moment after the boom that took place in the 90s that consecrated the fastest blue hedgehog in the world as a true SEGA icon. In fact, Sonic has recently returned to the fore, thus making himself known even among small fans, thanks to the film adaptations with actors of the caliber of Jim Carrey in the role of the villain. To date, two chapters have come out that have seen the hedgehog grappling with rich adventures, but what will be the future of the franchise? What will be the plans for Sonic 3? Let's discover together the words of the writers!

Pat Casey said: “It's going to be amazing. I can't wait". While Josh Miller said: "Spoiler alert: it's going to be crazy".

Some assumptions

What we can therefore expect is not yet clear except that this production will have the utmost attention from of the workers. However, we can assume that some goodies taken from videogame titles will be integrated into the third chapter, such as for example we saw in the film Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which introduced the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald within the cinematic universe. So following this logic, will new characters arrive such as Amy Rose and Rouge the Bat?
