After a series of not too exciting updates, Epic Games continues to add a series of small innovations that make the experience on Fortnite even more enjoyable and detailed. In addition to a series of themed skins and unique collaborations, the American company has unveiled just today what will be the next important news arriving in the evergreen battle royale.As announced in a new post on the official website, Epic Games has confirmed that with the arrival of the 19.30 version of Fortnite's Battle Royale mode, new and improved gyroscopic controls will also be introduced on PlayStation and PC consoles. Additionally, the mode selection splash screen that appeared on PlayStation, Xbox and PC has been removed, meaning that after loading, players will enter the game lobby directly.
Fortnite on Nintendo Switch and Android already had gyroscope-based motion controls before version 19.30, but with this update these controls have also been added on the versions of the popular battle royale for the most PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. With this addition players will be able to control the camera by rotating the controller.

Fortnite Update: 19.30 Patch Notes Detail Motion Controls On New Platforms
Fortnite is in motion with the 19.30 patch notes--literally. With the new update, players on new platforms can use motion controls previously seen only on Switch and Android platforms. Gyroscopic aiming and 'flick stick' controls, created by input specialist Julian “Jibb” Smart, are now playable for the first time on PS4, PS5, and PC and improved on Switch and Android. In addition to the new accessibility features, Epic has also removed the traditional landing page from Fortnite. No longer will players have to select Save The World, battle royale, or creative mode when they enter the game. Thanks to the improved discovery page that debuted last year, Epic is now comfortable throwing players right into the lobby, and from there, players can load into any game mode of their choice while defaulting to their most recently played mode.
