Elden Ring, now everything is ready for launch

After the triumph, it is time for stability for Elden Ring. In fact, FromSoftware didn't even have time to relax due to the great success of his game, which has already got back to work. And it does so in view of the official launch of the title, scheduled for February 25, 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC.

Se it is true that the game has also been technically praised by all the newspapers and influencers who have had the opportunity to try it in preview for the review, it is also true that not even Elden Ring is immune from some problems. For this reason, the Japanese developer has already developed a new patch, which will fix some of the minor problems and make the Interregnum experience much better for everyone.

One of the most important aspects obviously concerns the frame rate: thanks to this new patch, now, the various occasional drops and that occur on certain occasions seem to have disappeared. Other improvements concern a tuning of the controls, a greater stability, a cure of minor bugs and some changes to the texts. There is also a very particular fix, which fixes a small bug found with headsets for Xbox consoles.

There is nothing else to add: with the release of this new patch, we can now say that Elden Ring is practically ready to be launched by everyone after years of waiting. His arrival concludes a very intense February, dotted with important releases such as Horizon Forbidden West and lower-budget but unmissable products like Sifu. Could 2022 really be one of the best years for video games ever? If this is the way you go, probably yes.

You can buy Horizon Forbidden West for PS4 and PS5 consoles on Amazon.

Elden Ring is ready to rise with its launch trailer

Bandai Namco has dropped one more trailer to mark this week’s launch of From Software RPG Elden Ring.

This one’s a little less explanatory than the one from over the weekend, but more atmospherically sets the scene for the journey across The Lands Between. You might want to avoid if you’re wanting to go in cold, but everyone else? Well, you can expect a moody but dramatic introduction to the Tarnished’s journey and the battles ahead.

If you’ve somehow managed to avoid everything else so far, the game features a more open-world style overworld map. You’ll be able to explore most of it freely, but expect plenty of dangers and monsters along the way. You’ll still be able to explore some more traditional legacy dungeons though, if you’re a Souls purist like that. And in case you’ve any doubt to the narrative pedigree, the backstory has even had a little help from Game of Thrones scribe George R.R. Martin.

Check out the Elden Ring launch trailer below, then all there is to do is wait for the release. Not long now, as the game arrives this Friday, February 25 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
