The Last of Us: filming of the series started, number of episodes for season 1

The Last of Us

The shooting of the series around The Last of Us has started. It is now also known how many episodes the producers have planned for the first season: The mouthpiece for the first season will be after ten episodes, as author and producer Craig Mazin announced in his current podcast. Mazin recently made a name for himself with the Chernobyl miniseries. How long an episode of the Last of Us series will be out is not known. It should not be entirely unlikely that an episode is designed for a running time of 50 to 60 minutes and thus corresponds to the HBO standard.

Details about the content for the first season of the Last of Us series also remain to be seen . It would be possible, for example, that the first season takes up the first part of the PS4 adventure and later seasons deal with The Last of Us Part 2 (buy now € 33.90). One thing is certain: The shoot with Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) will take place in Calgary, Canada, in the province of Alberta. Filming is scheduled to end on June 8, 2022.

This time, YouTuber Speclizer has unearthed a way where Abby can actually catch up to Tommy during the sniper sequence. To add a little context in case you need reminding – Abby and Manny, who is a member of the WLF, are on the hunt for someone who has been sniping at them from afar and who are also dangerously good with their aim.

As the chase begins throughout Seattle’s Marina area, the mystery sniper keeps getting away while Abby and Manny try to catch up but are always held back in the line of fire. For those who have played TLOU2, you will already know that this assailant isn’t a stranger but rather Joel’s brother Tommy who has been out looking to make the WLF pay.

What players will remember from the game is that Tommy pulls a metal shutter down and in turn, evades Abby – or so we thought. In Speclizer’s video, they have found that if you know the layout of the area and you’re super fast, you can catch up with Tommy by slipping under the shutter before it closes. This then will see Abby come face to face with Joel’s brother as the two duke it out. Abby then can get Tommy in a headlock, point the gun at his head and it’s goodnight for him.

Obviously, this is a glitch and it in no way actually affects the storyline since Tommy plays a part after this scene but it’s still pretty cool – maybe not for Tommy though. Speclizer’s video, which you can watch below, is a really interesting watch as they also shine some light onto other “mistakes” or glitches throughout the game like a possessed hanging body and how you can’t shoot the lightbulbs in certain areas.
