The Boys' third season shooting started in February of this quest year in Toronto after suffering a delay due to the pandemic. There are still no details regarding the release date of the new season, but Eric Kripke has teased the fans, declaring that the first episode of the season will be totally insane. More recently, a photo of Jensen Ackles, new entry to the cast of the series, as Soldier Boy was also released.

The Boys tv series is distributed by Amazon Prime Video and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The cast consists of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon and Karen Fukuhara, joined by the aforementioned Jensen Ackles and Laurie Holden, the Andrea from The Walking Dead. The events take place in a world in which superheroes have become the super star, mostly under contract by the multinational Vaught, which not only takes care of their businesses but also their image. The most famous and beloved group of heroes, the Seven, are led by the Patriot (Antony Starr), a character as ambiguous as he is mad. He and Vaught are opposed by a small group of desperate people, led by the ruthless Butcher (Karl Urban), who involves the meek Hugie Campbell (Jack Quaid) in his misdeeds.
