Sony calls the list of "free" games for PS Plus in August 2021. In the new month, members of the online service can look forward to additional games for PS4 and PS5. The previous leak was confirmed: Sony had published the game selection early last weekend, but took the post offline again a short time later. Hunter's Arena: Legends is available for download on both PS4 and PS5. The close combat battle royale action takes you into an ancient East Asian world, in which you as a hunter not only have to fight against deadly demons, but also against each other for survival. You can compete against up to 30 other players - and put your hand-to-hand combat skills to the test.

PS Plus members will also receive the tennis simulation Tennis World Tour 2 and the multiplayer shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for in August Neighborville "free". The downloads of the new games will start on August 3rd in the PlayStation Store - the games should be available during Tuesday morning.

UPDATE TWO: The PS Plus August 2021 line-up of free PS4 and PS5 games has been announced by Sony.


It was previously revealed that Hunter's Arena: Legends would be the free PS5 game in the PS Plus August 2021 line-up.


And now it's been confirmed what the remaining free PlayStation Plus games for next month are.


The PS4 games included with the PS Plus August 2021 line-up are Tennis World Tour 2 and Plants vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville.


While the PS Plus August 2021 line-up was confirmed today, the line-up leaked over the weekend after the news went live early on the PlayStation website.


The new PS Plus August 2021 games will be available to download from next Tuesday.

However, in the run-up to the official PS Plus reveal it looks like the August line-up has leaked early.

Over the weekend the official PlayStation website appeared to announce the August 2021 PS Plus line-up early.


We had already found out that Hunter's Arena Legends would be the free PS5 game for PS Plus members in August.


This announcement came in the last State of Play, with all that was left to announce was the free PS4 games.


And it looks like PS Plus subscribers have found out the inbound free games for the PlayStation 4.


It's emerged the free PS4 games for the PS Plus August 2021 line-up are Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2.


These new PS Plus games will be available to download from Tuesday August 3.


The upcoming release of a new PS Plus line-up means time is also running out to download games from the current line-up.

PS5: Sony unveil pricing for PlayStation 5 console

Next week Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds for the PS4 as well as A Plague Tale: Innocence for the PS5 will be departing PS Plus.


These games were included in the July 2021 PS Plus line-up.


Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown - which previously was added to PS Plus - will also stop being a free PlayStation Plus game next week.
