Sony working with Konami to bring back a great IP?

For several days, news that could turn out to be sensational has been bouncing on the internet. According to some rumors, in fact, Konami has recently filed the trademarks for Castlevania and Metal Gear Rising. It is not yet clear if the Japanese company is willing to make a bang with the return of two franchises, perhaps exclusively on the Sony home console or if it is a way to protect them for the future, but nonetheless the fans are literally crazy. br>
The well-known leaker KatharsisT would have recently revealed that Sony would be in talks with Konami for a game of Castlevania coming out for PS5. These rumors, which although they seem to be true, we invite you to take with due pliers, would go hand in hand with the incessant rumors that would also see a remake of Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid.

KatharsisT allegedly stated that Sony and Konami were "discussing" a hypothetical new game in the Castlevania series but does not know if this has led to anything concrete. Obviously there is nothing official and we don't want to get you too hype, the fact is that it would seem that Sony has big things in mind. For some time now, a series of remakes of important Konami IPs have been rumored, and it is possible that in the coming years they could also actually be seen. Silent Hill, Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid are among the franchises most loved by the public, and we know well how fans are screaming loudly to see one of these works on next gen consoles.

There is nothing left to do other than to hope and eventually wait for more concrete news. While waiting for these, we invite you as usual to follow our pages. Will you see a return of Castlevania on PS5 well? Let us know yours with a comment below in the dedicated section.
