Dead Island 2 has been delayed again

Dead Island 2 has been delayed again . The delay is 12 weeks and the new release date is now set for April 28, 2023.

The information comes directly from the game developers via the official Twitter account. The tweet reads: “The delay is only 12 weeks and development is in the final stages now. The new release date for Dead Island 2 will be April 28, 2023”.

Along with the tweet is a image including the following text: "We have important information to share, so we rip off the Band-Aid now. We have decided to delay Dead Island 2. The new release date will be April 28, 2023. The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is perfectly clear and are as disappointed as you undoubtedly are. The delay is only 12 short weeks and development is in the final stages now - we will take the time to make sure we can release a game to be proud of. For those of you who been waiting for ages, thanks for being patient with us."

The image then continues: "In the meantime, we will be releasing an exciting new trailer and gameplay at the Dead Island 2 Showcase which will air on December 6, 2022 on our Twitch and YouTube channel, as well as on the Dead Island".

We will therefore be able to see the game in action before long, but the release has been postponed. As mentioned by the developers, many players have been waiting for years, so those 12 weeks aren't an incredible amount of time.

Among the latest Dead Island 2 themed news, we found out that weapons will break with the use, but the game will be generous with the equipment .
