The new exciting trailer for Super Mario Bros.

After the previous teaser released online, Super Mario Bros – The film finally has its official trailer. From the images we can see how the stakes are high and how this production has incorporated everything iconic we are used to seeing in video games from which it takes direct inspiration.

Super Mario Bros The Movie The trailer opens with our beloved Mario, inside a screaming arena, grappling with a more agitated Donkey Kong than ever. Continuing then showing us in more detail many other characters, such as his brother Luigi, the number one antagonist Bowser and many others. In fact, we find the mash-up that the production wanted to bring to the big screen with this feature film very interesting, which from the trailer also shows some amusing sequences on board some motorized splinters directly taken from the Mario Kart videogame titles.

Production and cast

The film is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (also known for having produced Teen Titans Go! – The Movie ), from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The New Adventures, Minions 2 – Gru Becomes Despicable) .

As for the voices, in the original version Chris Pratt will voice Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy will be Princess Peach, Charlie Day will be Luigi and Jack Black will voice Bowser; Keegan-Michael Key voices Toad, Seth Rogen and Fred Armisen in Donkey and Cranky Kong, respectively. Kevin Michael Richardson plays the role of Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco that of Spike.

Still on the subject of dubbing, after the publication of the first teaser of the film, some fans had raised their doubts about the choice by the Chris Patt production for Mario. Fans thought Mario's longtime voice actor Charles Martinet should play that role

However, Chris Pratt had previously spoken about his work on the film, stating:

I worked closely with the directors and tried a few things. I've come up with something that I'm really proud of and can't wait for people to see and hear.

The film is produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo. The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures.
