MotorStorm in 4K looks spectacular on PC

Who remembers MotorStorm? Sony's IP debuted at the time of PS3 and was a real surprise for all fans of arcade racing games. The franchise has five chapters, including Pacific Rift, which debuted in 2008 and it is this second chapter that has become the subject of the community, which has literally remastered it.

As you could have guessed from the title of the news, in fact, the community that develops and maintains RPCS3 (PlayStation 3 PC emulator) has dedicated itself to the remastering of MotorStorm Pacific Rift. The game is now capable of running at a whopping 60 frames per second, at 4K resolution. Needless to say, the result is definitely amazing and the feeling is to find ourselves in front of a very recent game, even if obviously it is dated 2008.

The video, which you find a little further down, demonstrates how the emulation of PS3 on PC is really taking giant steps. Of course, the use of a PC undermines what could be the original gaming experience, but for certain games (like MotorStorm, in fact) the technical improvements are a demonstration of how the technology and know-how of the community could soon break down all limits. We invite you to take a look at this home made “remastering” simply by taking a look at the video available immediately below.| ); }
