Amazon Prime Gaming: a leak suggests 7 free titles in the October line-up

Amazon Prime Gaming

A Dealabs leaker named Billbil-kun has suggested that the new Amazon Prime Gaming line-up for October will include seven totally free titles. Specifically we are talking about games such as Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer II, Glass Masquerade, Loom, Hero's Hour and Horace, and given the previous reliability of this leaker, there would be no wonder if it were all true. Obviously access to Prime Gaming is strictly linked to your subscription with Amazon, with the possibility of having exclusive PC titles every thirty days.

The attention of Amazon Prime Gaming towards its subscribers, however, does not stop at these lists, offering each of them, in addition to the aforementioned free titles, also some additional content for some specific video games such as Apex Legends , Call of Duty Warzone, Destiny 2, or The Elder Scrolls Online.

According to what was recently reported by Amazon Prime Gaming itself, during the previous year the service offered its users over a hundred free video games, with around 675 offers related to game content. Analyzing the data of this specific company segment, its current success is immediately clear, with numbers always growing and a lively interest, at least for now, regarding the opportunities that the service offers to all enthusiasts willing to subscribe.

Amazon's Prime Gaming Free Games for October Revealed

With September nearly finished, Amazon's Prime Gaming has gone ahead and revealed what the subscription service is adding as free video games in October. More specifically, Prime Gaming will have seven different free titles on offer starting October 3rd: Fallout 76, Total War: Warhammer II, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Glass Masquerade: Origins, LOOM, Hero's Hour, and Horace. That's in addition to the various free in-game loot offers that Prime Gaming regularly rotates through.

The typical caveats for Prime Gaming free games apply here, of course. They are only available to claim for a limited time as free games on offer typically rotate each month. Additionally, these are PC-only video games and might require specific accounts on other digital distribution platforms in order to claim. Occasionally, this means linking the accounts together or simply redeeming codes.

Here's how Amazon's Prime Gaming describes the new titles coming in October 2022:

  • Fallout 76: 25 years after the bombs that ended the world fell, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America to explore a vast decrepit wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story.
  • Total War: Warhammer II: Immerse yourself in a breathtaking campaign of exploration, expansion and conquest across a fantasy world in this turn-based civilisation management game. Take command of real-time epic strategy battles with thousands of troops and monsters at your command, and make your mark on the world.
  • Middle-earth: Shadow of War: Dive into the magical land of Middle-earth as you forge a new Ring of Power, conquer Fortresses in massive battles and dominate Mordor with your personal orc army in the latest installment of the Middle-earth series.
  • Glass Masquerade: Origins: Explore an artistic puzzle game inspired by Art Deco and stained glass artisans of the 20th century. Combine hidden glass pieces to unveil clocks and themes exhibited by various cultures of the world at the 'International Times Exhibition', an interactive electronic show.
  • LOOM: Explore the Age of the Great Guilds and take on the role of Bobbin, a Weaver boy, as he unravels the mystery of the strange power that has swept the Weavers into oblivion. Blacksmiths, shepherds and clerics have woven their knowledge into the very fabric of reality itself, and it is now up to Bobbin to save his Guild and the universe from an unspeakable catastrophe.
  • Hero's Hour: A fast turn-based strategy RPG with real-time combat, Hero's Hour allows you to develop your cities and armies, level up your heroes to gain new, powerful spells and skills, and explore the wonders and dangers of procedurally generated maps as you aim to conquer your enemies before they're able to do the same to take you out.
  • Horace: Heralded as one of the best in its class, this huge platforming adventure pushes the boundaries of the genre with the profound story of a small robot learning of life, the universe and Douglas Adams.
  • As noted above, Fallout 76, Total War: Warhammer II, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Glass Masquerade: Origins, LOOM, Hero's Hour, and Horace are set to be available via Prime Gaming starting on October 3rd. That's in addition to various in-game loot in various other video games. Prime Gaming, more generally, is part of the larger Amazon Prime subscription.
