Bart and Loki
Loki is currently on everyone's lips just because of the streaming series of the same name. Fans of the god of practical jokes can look forward to another appearance of their favorite - albeit in a slightly different form. The short film "Bart and Loki: Two Glorious Scoundrels" will soon be celebrating its premiere at Disney +.It is a crossover animated film in which the worlds of The Simpsons and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU ) meet. As the name suggests, both Bart Simpson and Loki are in focus. The latter is once again banned from Asgard and ends up in Springfield. As you can already see from the artwork, numerous Simpsons characters have slipped into the costumes of well-known superheroes and super villains from the MCU especially for this adventure. Carl appears as Nick Fury, Milhouse van Houten has a job as Hawkeye and the constantly drunk Barney Gumble tries his hand at Iron Man. The starting shot for "Bart and Loki: Two Glorious Scoundrels" (originally called "The Good, the Bart and the Loki") will be given on July 7th, 2021 on the Disney + streaming service - tomorrow, Tuesday.

Simpsons meets Marvel in the crossover “The Good, The Bart, and The Loki”
This short is yet another time for Loki to shine, just a month after his self-titled TV series premiered. This time the antihero teams up with Bart after having been banished from Asgard once again. Loki is voiced by Tom Hiddleston. The promotional poster bears a striking resemblance to the one of the movie Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019. Coming exclusively on Disney+, the short will be available on July 7th.
This is the fourth Simpsons short. Another crossover, but with Star Wars, was released in May (guess the date!) this year, titled The Force Awakens from Its Nap.
