Masters of the Universe

Director Kevin Smith has hinted that a first series of images of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, the new Netflix series that stars He-Man and his companions, could be shown as soon as possible. Directed by Smith himself, the series will focus on Teela (whose original action figure you can purchase at this link) and her search for a lost Sword of Power. The animated series boasts a truly exceptional cast of voice actors, with Chris Wood voicing the legendary He-Man, Mark Hamill as the evil Skeletor, Sarah Michelle Gellar will play Teela and Lena Headey will voice the evil Evil-Lyn instead. >

The Masters of the Universe franchise dates back to the early 1980s, when Mattel first launched this iconic toy line with attached mini comics, which later expanded with the animated series of 1983, closely followed by the spin off series She-Ra: Princesses of Power in 1985 and by the film adaptation with Dolph Lundgren in the role of He-Man of 1987, of which there was also talk of a hypothetical reboot from part of Sony, but of which there has been no news for quite a while now. Netflix has already produced series inspired by the Masters of the Universe franchise, such as the acclaimed reboot of She-Ra in 2018, followed by the announcement of two more themed productions, one of which is Masters of the Universe: Revelation. br>

Although he wasn't even sure he could unbutton himself that much, the director said the first images of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which will also be supported by a four-volume comic miniseries, could be shown as early as this week. and that a trailer would be coming soon.
