GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

It seems that the debut of the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards is getting closer and closer. In fact, in the past we have already reported to you about the sighting of MSI's GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Suprim X at a retailer in the United Arab Emirates, where the product was already on sale at a very high price.

We remind you that , according to the latest rumors, the card will be equipped with 80 Streaming Multiprocessors (SM) for a total of 10,240 CUDA cores, 320 Tensor cores and 80 RT cores. Moving on to the operating frequencies, we are talking about a base clock of 1.365MHz and a boost clock of 1.665MHz. As for the memories, there should be on board 12GB of GDDR6X at 19Gb / s on a 384-bit bus for a total bandwidth of 912.4GB / s. It is, therefore, a product intended for the most passionate gamers and will most likely end up in our guide to the best video cards on the market.

VideoCardz colleagues have recently published additional photos depicting other models of this long-awaited Video Card. In particular, we were referring to the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW 3 Ultra, the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra and the GALAX GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Boomstar.

Yesterday we reported that NVIDIA will hold a keynote at Computex in a few days and, according to some rumors, it seems that it will take the opportunity to officially announce the new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, while the debut on the market of the first is scheduled for next June 3. Obviously, for the moment we just have to wait patiently a few more days for an official confirmation, but the large number of leaks in the last few days certainly cannot be just a coincidence.

Are you looking for a good motherboard to pair with the new Ryzen processors? ASUS ROG Strix X570-F with 14 power phases might be a good choice. You can find it on Amazon at a discounted price.

Nvidia is teasing a GeForce event for May 31st, the same day the company is rumored to be launching its new GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. A mysterious 11-second teaser video has appeared on Twitter today, simply revealing a GeForce event for 10PM PT on May 31st, or 1AM ET on June 1st.

Recent rumors have suggested the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be revealed alongside the RTX 3070 Ti on May 31st. The RTX 3080 Ti will reportedly include 12GB of GDDR6X memory, a 2GB increase over what’s found on the existing RTX 3080. A wider 384-bit bus is also rumored, matching the RTX 3090 — and an increase to the memory bandwidth over the RTX 3080.

The new RTX 3080 Ti and</a> RTX 3070 Ti will undoubtedly include a hash limit for Ethereum cryptocurrency mining. Nvidia introduced this limit on newly manufactured RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 cards recently, branding new cards with a “Lite Hash Rate” or “LHR” identifier.

Leaked specs appear to suggest the RTX 3080 Ti will sit between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, offering performance somewhere between the two. Since the RTX 3090 retails (on paper at least) at $1,499, it’s possible we’ll see RTX 3080 Ti pricing at around the $1,000 mark.

Not that retail pricing really matters, as the street prices of new GPUs are utterly out of control. A global chip shortage has pushed GPU prices up, and demand is still incredibly high during ongoing supply constraints. Nvidia has already warned these supply issues will continue throughout 2021, so launching a new RTX 3080 Ti isn’t going to help here.
