Mass Effect Legendary Edition is gold one month before the release date

It's been four years since the most recent chapter of Mass Effect and fourteen since the first title of the saga hit the shelves of stores around the world. Now, the saga is about to return, precisely with the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, a remastered version of the first three chapters of the saga. The release date is May 14, but the game is already gold.

With "gold", in case you don't know, we refer to the version of the game that is deemed ready for printing and distribution. Nowadays even the gold version tends to be imperfect and developers use the remaining time to make a D1 patch with which to fix the latest problems. That said, the team is celebrating the occasion, as you can see in the tweet from Mac Walters, Project Director of Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Mac Walters states, in translation: "Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now gold! It's been a long journey - it's time for a little celebration. Maybe even a little dance .. if that's your thing." The game is therefore ready and we can be sure that there will be no delays. On May 14th we will have the opportunity to get our hands on the PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S versions. Furthermore, the community manager recently illustrated a lot of details on the playful novelties of these three games.

Finally, we would like to point out that Mass Effect Legendary Edition does without Nintendo Switch, at least for now.
