Hasbro announces Monopoly Jurassic Park

A simple game of Monopoly could take a totally different turn from the usual, if together with the classic "probabilities" and "unexpected" you also get in the way ... a T-rex! Hasbro has in fact released a particular version of the most famous board game in the world inspired by Jurassic Park, a cult film with a dinosaur theme from 1993, which certainly needs no introduction, complete with a hungry tyrannosaurus that roams the board of game and a reproduction of the iconic park gate, capable of reproducing the terrifying roar of the beast and the famous main theme of the film's soundtrack.

Players will be able to play one of six characters from the first Jurassic Park: Doctor Ellie Sattler, Doctor Alan Grant, John Hammond, Doctor Ian Malcolm, Lex Murphy or Tim Murphy. It will be possible to build fences to protect the properties (the various paddocks of the park in this case) from the attacks of the dinosaurs and thus raise the income, provided that the T-rex, which also moves every turn, does not happen right on the space occupied by one of the paddocks. If this happens, the facility is immediately destroyed, unless it has been fitted with fences, in which case they will stop the T-rex's rampage, but will need to be rebuilt later. If the dinosaur arrives on a space occupied by one of the players, he will have to pay good money to the bank to escape it.

The gate, which will obviously be placed in the "Go" box, has a button that each player must press when passing by. Depending on what sound is played by pressing the button, the main theme or the roar of the T-rex, the player can make or lose money.

As in the other versions, even in Monopoly Jurassic Park everything will have to be done to avoid bankruptcy, but if the T-rex gets to damage all the paddocks, before they can be protected by fences or repaired, then not there will be no winner, regardless of the money and possessions accumulated at that time.
