Call of Duty Warzone: Developer promises major update 3.5 with a lot more content

Call of Duty Warzone

In Call of Duty: Warzone season 3 is running: With the start of the new season, the battle royale shooter got a number of map changes. The previous Verdansk map was completely destroyed in a Nuke event - since then, players have found themselves on a Verdansk in 1984. This brings the developers closer to the current first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and leaves the scenes of Modern Warfare behind. In a current interview, Creative Director Amos Hodge from Raven Software explains that there are still a lot more content planned.

"As long as players keep playing, we will of course create more content," the developer comments in an interview with the videogamechronicle website. com. "I would say that what you saw at the start of the season is just the beginning. We could do a completely different presentation for the mid-season update," continues Hodge. Much more content is planned for the mid-season update. "This is our biggest season so far," adds the creative director.

Call of Duty: Warzone goes back in time with Verdansk ’84

Call of Duty: Warzone is entering season three with new weapons, operators and Verdansk ‘84.

While fans are waiting for the next Call of Duty game, they’ll have plenty of content to hold them over in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. For season three of Call of Duty: Warzone, Verdansk has been sent back in time to Verdansk ‘84.

The official Call of Duty website described what players can expect from the revamped map and documented the major changes.

“Season Three is the beginning of a new era for Warzone, one that brings Verdansk back to 1984 with massive changes to the map,” the post said. “As a map that defined Warzone for its first year and a month, Verdansk has now been refreshed to optimize gameplay and offer a wider variety of new combat experiences, all while setting it back in time to fully tie it into the rich story of Black Ops Cold War.”

It went on to highlight 20 major changes to the map. Verdansk ‘84 is a developing city still in progress, so many of the areas have been redesigned to be more open and accessible, especially for players parachuting in.

The Dam has also been replaced by Gora Summit, a large complex situated on a rocky island that veteran Call of Duty: Black Ops players will remember as their old stomping grounds.

Dying in Verdansk ‘84 will also introduce players to the revised Gulag. Now, it features a new “practice course” along with a new dueling center.

And if you want every advantage possible, the Call of Duty team has compiled a massive strategy guide filled with over 300 tips, a map of Verdansk ‘84 with over 400 points of interest and even suggested loadouts for Call of Duty: Warzone’s constantly changing meta.
