OnePlus, finally available Android 13 for six additional models

OnePlus

Android 13 is now available on a further six OnePlus models, which will be updated to the latest version of the well-known robot's operating system over the next few days.

More correctly, OnePlus devices will not receive Android 13, but an in-house developed variant of Google's operating system: OxygenOS 13. Accessing this important update will be OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, 8T, 9R, 9RT and 10R.

Although the simultaneous involvement of six models (some dating back to 2020) may seem unusual, it was OnePlus itself to confirm its veracity with a series of dedicated posts.

Not only that: according to what has been said, each smartphone will receive a different version of OxygenOS 13. However, depending on the smartphone model involved, the differences could be minimal .

Purely by way of example, here are the new features introduced for the OnePlus 9RT.

Adds the Kid Space which allows you to set screen time limits, ambient light reminders and eye protection features. The company points out that 5GB of free space is required to successfully complete the transition to OxygenOS 13 and the battery must be charged at least 30%.

For the sake of completeness, we point out that the updates in question will initially be available only for those who have taken part in the Open Beta tests; only later, more gradually, will these innovations be extended to all users.
