Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, the preload size is gargantuan

Waiting for the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 scheduled for next week, Updates Lumia has unveiled on Twitter the dimensions of the preload of Activision's free-to-play battle royale, which apparently will be really gargantuan: 115, 62 GB.

We specify that the weight indicated by Lumia Updates is relative to the Xbox versions, so it could be higher or lower on PC, PS5 and PS4. Furthermore, we only talk about the size of the preload, to which any pre-launch or D1 updates will be added.

It must also be considered that like all live-service games, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will receive a rich post-launch support, with new content that will inevitably increase the overall size. For example Warzone 1.0 now takes up around 130GB on PS5, where it weighed around 80GB at launch. In short, get ready to make room in the SSD of your console or PC.

We remind you that the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is scheduled for November 16, 2022. Here are the dates and times of the preload and the official opening of the servers, as well as details on the contents of Season 1 and the Battle Pass. We also remind you that in conjunction with the launch of the new iteration of the free-to-play battle royale, the servers of the first Call of Duty: Warzone will be shut down for 12 days. It will later be relaunched as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera.
