In Starfield it will be possible to steal spaceships

In addition to being able to build your own, in Starfield it will also be possible to steal the spaceships of the NPCs. The confirmation came directly from Bethesda's Pete Hines, who announced that yes, even in the next role-playing game by Todd Howard and associates it will be possible to escape with means of transport that do not belong directly to the players.

The possibility of stealing spaceships from NPCs is part of a simple philosophy, namely that of not placing stakes on players. "We do not want to limit the players in any way", the words of Pete Hines, which therefore confirm the completely free nature of Starfield, which goes from exploration to actual criminal acts. Thefts can already be committed in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, but clearly this is limited by the absence of actual vehicles. With the new action RPG, however, all of this will change.

Starfield doesn't have a release date yet. The new game from Bethesda Game Studios will be available starting in 2023 on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC. In addition to free exploration, which will take away a lot of time for the players given the huge amount of planets, the game will also be able to count on the longest storyline ever created by the development team: to complete the campaign, in fact, it will take from 30 to 40 hours.
