Great debut of an ex-WWE at AEW x NJPW - Forbidden Door

The first edition of Forbidden Door, PPV, which saw AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling join forces for a night of great show, has been delivered to the archives. In addition to cardioplama matches and the coronation of new champions, fans also witnessed the grand debut of a former WWE.

Grand debut of a former WWE at Forbidden Door

AEW x NJPW - Forbidden Door It was Cesaro, who entered the scene using his real name as well as the one that distinguished him at the beginning of his career around the world, namely Claudio Castagnoli. The Swiss-born wrestler faced and defeated Zack Saber Jr. with the Ricola Bomb after a great match.

This is Castagnoli's first public appearance since February, the month in which he left WWE after the two sides failed to agree on a new contract. Castagnoli is now also an official member of the Blackpool Combat Club, stable led by William Regal, and will fight for the episode of Blood & Guts, scheduled for Wednesday. Most likely it will also be present at Death Before Dishonor, the new event of the Ring of Honor (now owned by Tony Khan).

Where to see Forbidden Door in Italy

Unlike what was initially announced, and as usual for events in ppv of the AEW, unfortunately it was not possible to see AEW x NJPW - Forbidden Door neither on SKY PRIMAFILA nor in streaming on demand on NOW. The event is available in rerun exclusively on the FITE.TV platform at a cost of around 16 euros.
