Olympia Kyklos departs from ancient Greece to reach the present day. It begins by telling the story of the Greek painter Demetrius, who illustrates scenes of daily life and sports, myths and legends on the amphorae. Despite being inclined to sport but averse to competition, he is chosen to represent his village in a competition that will decide the fate of his people. Frightened and worried, he hides in a clay pot, which is struck by lightning. Demetrio remains unharmed but, coming out of the pot, he realizes that he was catapulted into the middle of the Tokyo Olympics in 1964. Yes, somehow he ended up in Tokyo in 1964! Of course, Demetrios has no idea what Japan is. What will become of him?
