Indiana Jones won't be Xbox exclusive

According to Jez Corden, the Indiana Jones game currently in development at MachineGames will not be Xbox exclusive.

The information was shared during The Xbox Two podcast. Jez Corden says he knows it won't be exclusive. He says it in such a way as to imply that he is sure of it. In other words, the game will also be published on PlayStation consoles.

To date it has never been said whether the game would be Xbox exclusive or not. MachineGames is one of the teams under the Zenimax / Bethesda label and has thus become part of Xbox Game Studios. The game was announced when the team's move under Microsoft's umbrella was already underway. Development deals, however, may have been made prior to the acquisition, so it's possible it's actually cross-platform. Jez Corden now confirms it.

Obviously, we're talking about a rumor, not official information. We will have to wait for the team to announce the reference platforms.

Staying on the subject, here is the first image of the new film with Harrison Ford, coming in 2023.
