McLaren Racing launches an NFT collection

The well-known car brand McLaren Racing has announced the launch of an NFT collection called McLaren Racing Collective. To build the platform, McLaren Racing partnered with Tezos, whose decentralized blockchain, for maximum energy efficiency.

The first drop will include four different components of the MCL35M 2021 F1 racing car. Fans and blockchain enthusiasts will be able to purchase different parts of McLaren's Formula 1 car. Each NFT-based MCL35M race car is in fact made up of 22 unique digital collectibles. Each digital car part will have a different level of scarcity and there will be enough parts available to assemble 35 racing vehicles. The first person to collect all the unique pieces and successfully put together the complete NFT car will win an exclusive trip to a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2022.

The first drop of four digital collectibles from the car MCL3M F1 is scheduled for October 24 during the United States Grand Prix in Texas. McLaren fans will be able to interact with the car parts in innovative views and view them in 3D from all angles. The company plans to organize numerous events and campaigns in the future with the intention of making the new digital platform an integral part of the fan engagement strategy.
