Free PC games: Amazon Prime gives away a western title

Free PC games

Giving away games has now become a custom of gaming and non-gaming subscriptions. Amazon Prime returns today to give away a nice western title, not memorable, but certainly fun to pass the time on the days when we need a little relaxation.

If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, you remember, you can in fact download at least five monthly titles completely free and we had already presented the May list through a previous article. In addition, we recommend that you also keep an eye on our page that keeps the free titles of the week updated, so that you always know where and when to redeem free video games, even on consoles. Furthermore, it is good to know that the offers proposed with the Prime Gaming service do not stop at free games. Also in May, fans will be able to download a whole series of exclusive bonuses for the titles of the moment.

But back to our western title, what is it? The game in question is Bombslinger, an entirely independent production of Mode4 and Plug In Digital inspired by the much more popular Bomberman and featuring both single player and multiplayer modes.

It certainly won't be a Triple A, but at least it is a game that is receiving and has already received "very positive" reviews on Steam, as much as you base yourself to try it out and maybe have a few laughs with your friends. The redemption is possible until June 11 and to download it just go to the official Prime Gaming website and click on "redeem" under the name of the game. Easy, right?

Stay tuned to our pages for other free titles, just this week Epic is preparing to give away a "mysterious" game, while Xbox (but this is about Game Pass) has yet to reveal the new games for the second part of May. In short, keep following us so as not to miss even a free video game!

Epic reveals the next free game

It’s Thursday, and you know what that means – another round of free PC games from the Epic Games Store. This week, you can grab the gorgeous action-adventure title Pine, and as ever, Epic has revealed next week’s freebie, too. Fans of adventure games should stay tuned, because The Lion’s Song is a beautiful take on classic point-and-click adventures.

You’ll be able to grab The Lion’s Song from the usual Epic Games Store promotion page on Thursday, May 13 at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 4pm BST. It’ll be there for one full week, at which point it’ll be replaced by another freebie. As ever, you’ll ‘purchase’ the game at a price of zero dollars, and it’ll remain in your library just like any game you might pay money for.

The Lion’s Song is a character-driven story set in early 20th century Austria. Each of its episodes focus on a different character struggling to make their mark in the world, and culminates in a finale where your choices shape the outcome for all four characters. It’s reviewed well among both critics and players, and looks well worth checking out if you’re a fan of narrative adventures.

Check out a trailer for The Lion’s Song below.

There are free Steam games as always, too – and you can play the first episode of The Lion’s Song for free right now.
