Ken Block's Porsche pays homage to the Pink Pig with 1400 hp

Ken Block is certainly not new to cars of incredible power, and the new Porsche 911 made by Hoonigan and BBi Autosport manages to overshadow all the models already seen in the past: officially known as 'Hoonipigasus', it is a unique Porsche in the mid-engined of its kind, and will be Ken Block's trusted companion at the 2022 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

The goal of this car is simple: to be the most fast around Pikes Peak, and it seems that the ingredients to achieve this are all there. The car weighs 1000 kilograms, is powered by a 4-liter twin turbo mid-engine capable of producing 1400 horsepower, and features a set of intelligent suspension that automatically adjusts in height according to the data provided by the GPS and from the telemetry of past editions. The whole is supported on very wide slick tires, specially designed for Ken's driving style.

“The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is one of the biggest reasons I became a rally driver. The list of riders who have raced and won this uphill race includes some of my heroes: Walter Rohrl, Sebastian Loeb, and Rod Millen, just to name a few. I've always wanted to race Pikes Peak at the highest level, being able to compete for the final victory - and with our team and the incredible Porsche made by BBi Autosport we finally have a chance! I'm really happy to be part of this iconic race and I hope to be able to add my name to the list of the fastest, because this is the toughest uphill race in the world. " Ken Block, interviewed before the demonstration, which will take place on June 26th, said.
