Intel Arc Alchemist Desktop Cards may arrive later than expected

Intel has repeatedly stated that the launch of the Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards would take place during the second quarter of 2022, but we are practically in the middle of this period and a precise date has not yet been given. As we reported a few days ago, a staggered launch should be carried out, with the three cheapest Arc Alchemist models coming out between the end of May and the beginning of June and, to follow, the higher-end ones in the following weeks.

However, according to what Igor Wallossek said on his well-known website Igor's Lab, it seems that the launch may have been postponed, although I have not quantified how much this delay amounts to. The information would have come to Wallossek from multiple sources, including some that he himself defined as "favorite testers". Intel may be struggling with hardware and software issues that took the company some additional time to finalize firmware, clock rates, and other features.| ); }
