GPD, a well-known company based in Hong Kong that has been making hybrids between mini computers and portable consoles for years, recently announced its new Win Max 2, a device that stands out for the use of an Intel Alder Lake CPU with 14 cores and 20 threads.

GPD Win Max 2 is also quite beautiful to look at, thanks to its unibody chassis in aluminum and magnesium alloy measuring 228 × 160 mm.

The dissipation system used sees the presence of the same fan used in the Win 3 model, but GPD has made sure that it is more than adequate to guarantee good heat dissipation, as well as excellent operating silence.
