God of War: released patches 1.0.10 and 1.0.11 to fix problems of 1.0.9

God of War

Sony Santa Monica has tightly released two patches for the PC version of God of War: 1.0.10 and 1.0.11, arriving right after 1.0.9. Consider that the latter dates back to a few days ago, ie March 23, 2022.

Only this should make you understand that these are the classic bugfix patches. 1.0.10 corrects a spelling mistake in the user interface and fixes a bug in the Steam objectives, while 1.0.11 fixes a graphical glitch, whereby some players were seeing flashing lights throughout the game.

Both patches are automatically downloaded and installed in the game from the client you own them on. The only thing you need to do to get them is to be connected to the internet.

God of War arrives on PC with a well-optimized conversion and capable of generate with a very high frame rate even in native 4K as long as you have a configuration that lives up to expectations. This does not mean, however, that mid-range and low-end computers have been cut out because the native support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFx Super Resolution is able to strongly push the frame count up without noticeable decreases in quality, especially in comparison to the original work on PS4 and PS5. It is clear that from a conversion available almost 4 years after the console launch, we would have expected greater granularity in the graphics options and, possibly, the total configuration of the controls even with the pad, but in front of this good god it is really difficult. to complain. If you haven't already done so on PlayStation consoles, definitely play God of War on the PC version - it's undoubtedly the best to see and face.

However, it seems like Sony has no plans to delay God of War Ragnarok and it is still on track for the 2022 release window. Blue Owlz: Medic who handles the Community and Social for Santa Monica Studios confirmed in a tweet that God of War Ragnarok is indeed coming out in 2022. This is great news for PlayStation owners, as they are eagerly looking forward to the game’s release.

It should be noted that prominent game journalist Jason Schreier had also reaffirmed a few weeks ago that God of War Ragnarok will be coming out this year. When it comes to the exact release date of the game, there is still no information but many have suggested that the September-October window is something we can expect.
