Tire Bonus
In addition to the purchase incentives for new low environmental impact cars, further support measures for the automotive world could arrive in the coming weeks, such as the new Tire Bonus. The facilitation in question was anticipated by some amendments to the recent Energy Decree by representatives of Lega, Forza Italia and M5S.In its first formulation, this is a bonus designed to facilitate the purchase of low rolling resistance tires. These tires can guarantee a reduction in consumption of up to 7% and a reduction in braking distance of up to 30% (in comparison between a category E tire and a category A tire that can be purchased with the possible incentive).
At the moment , it is not clear whether or not access limits will be envisaged for the facilitation (for example an ISEE cap). The new Tire Bonus could become a reality in the next few weeks, enriching the measures in support of motorists and the Italian automotive sector. We will know more shortly. The bonus may be available as early as spring.
