In the intentions of its original authors, Metal and Death Meta l are in fact works aimed at celebrating the aesthetics of that boundless cosmos generated by metal music, a genre born in the 70s and which was able to evolve in the following decades in a multitude of styles and currents also very different from each other. The soundtrack thus becomes a further cross-media and metatextual element that thus goes to flank the series of variant covers released to promote the Batman: Death Metal miniseries, which paid homage to bands of the caliber of Megadeth, Ghost, Lacuna Coil, Opeth, Sepultura, Dream Theater and Ozzy Osbourne.

Dark Nights: Death Metal Soundtrack will be produced by DC Comics and Loma Vista Recordings and will be available in all digital stores, on CD and double LP and in an exclusive edition with variant cover illustrations . The soundtrack, in its double vinyl edition, can be pre-ordered at this link.
