Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance: Switch version postponed one day after the announcement

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance

As we reported, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is back on consoles with a remaster version that brings the game to 4K. The game from Interplay Entertainment and Black Isle Studios is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was supposed to come out on the Nintendo Switch as well, but the developers were forced to postpone the game for a few days, due to an unexpected issue.

As you can see for yourself in the tweet below, Black Isle Studios claims that "Due to an unexpected issue with the Nintendo Switch store, the team is forced to postpone the launch of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance for a few days to fix it." The developer says he is "extremely sorry and is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible." Finally, thank the fans for their patience and attach a picture of Mario with a sad face.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance will therefore arrive on Nintendo Switch next week. Unless additional problems arise, it should only be a few days delay, so nothing too serious. We remind you that the game costs 29.99 euros and does not offer new content compared to the original version.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance will also arrive on PC and mobile in the course of 2021. You can see the trailer and the game images in our dedicated news.
