ZeniMax hires over 190 people after the acquisition by Microsoft

The acquisition of ZeniMax by Microsoft has received the approval of the European Commission and the US Securities and Exchange Commission, there is still no official announcement on the matter but the marriage between the two companies is done. As a consequence, ZeniMax Media is looking for personnel to be placed in its numerous studios.

At the moment there are over 190 open positions among technicians, designers, programmers, artists, graphic designers, animators, community managers and many other professionals who can flesh out the teams at Bethesda, Arkane, Tango Gameworks, MachineGames, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios and Alpha Dog Games.

The group is working on numerous projects, ZeniMax Online Studios is carrying out work on The Elder Scrolls Online with new content on a regular basis, id Software is developing new content for the acclaimed DOOM Eternal while Arkane and Tango Gameworks are working on Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo respectively. MachineGames is working on the new Indiana Jones video game and presumably the third episode of Wolfenstein while Bethesda Game Studios is taking care of The Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield and in all likelihood a new Fallout as well.

All these franchises, remember, they will soon be owned by Microsoft, however it is not yet clear if ZeniMax games will become Xbox exclusive or if they will remain cross-platform.
