Following a trend that embraces more and more areas of daily life, the gaming market also seems to be gradually approaching the dictates of the "slow" lifestyle, aimed at rediscovering the pleasures of existence with calm and thoughtful rhythms, far from the frenzy that often accompanies work and family commitments.

More and more gamers are choosing to try their hand at experiences with placid tones: an example above all is dictated by the incredible global success of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with the Nintendo life simulator that has conquered in a very short time millions of people around the world. From today, slow gaming fans have access to a further expression of the genre, with the debut on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite of Harvest Moon: One World.

In full continuity with the tradition of the series of rural life simulator, the game offers aspiring virtual farmers the opportunity to try their hand at managing a farm, including crops to discover and animals to get acquainted with. Particularly ambitious, Harvest Moon: One World offers the largest digital world ever seen in the 25-year history of the series, with a continent that offers 5 different ecosystems, each characterized by its own typical fauna and flora. Traveling to the corners of the globe, the player will have to recover lost crops, preserving biodiversity with the help of small crop spirits.

Traveling does not mean leaving the fields, however, with the new portable farm that can follow the protagonist everywhere, including bears, cows, reindeer and even camels. Before setting out in search of lost fruits and vegetables, friends and soul mates, slow gaming enthusiasts can stop on our pages, where there is a rich special dedicated to the 25 years of evolution of Harvest Moon, between 2D and 3D.
