Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp now includes augmented reality
The mobile title Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been offering license enthusiasts the opportunity to pitch their tent in a campsite since 2017. It contains key ingredients, between furniture construction, landscaping, exploration, fishing and insect capture. The latest addition to AR camera and AR chalet modes now brings game characters to life.

Through the AR camera, players can now select a real-world location and put stage the characters and their furniture on the set to capture the moment. The AR chalet mode, on the other hand, allows players to "enter the same space as their animal friends" and observe them face-to-face. The principle is to design a personalized Chalet made up of the furniture and equipment of your choice. The next step is to invite up to eight characters. The game campsites are also enriched with new features and welcome additional areas that can be set up.

At the same time, Nintendo is offering newcomers and regulars alike the benefit of a free month 's subscription to Joyeuse collection, the regular price of which is € 8.99. Note that at the end of the trial period, the subscription will cost € 8.99 per month again, unless you cancel it. Each month, players can eat five lucky cakes of their choice to obtain exclusive furniture and clothing. The subscription also offers additional storage space for objects.

Remember that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, powered by the release of New Horizons, saw its revenues and downloads explode in April. Analyst Sensor Tower, who specializes in the mobile market, estimates that it generated $ 7.9 million in this month alone. Nintendo, of course, intends to continue to fuel its mobile success.
