PlayStation 5: how to use Share Play on the new Sony console
Just like on the older generation Sony console, the new PlayStation 5 operating system also gives players the ability to activate a feature called Share Play.

For those who don't know what we're talking about, by activating Share Play i players can give a friend permission to play remotely with the currently running game or even play co-op if a split screen mode is supported.

How to activate Share Play on PS5

If you are interested in activating this feature, we first invite you to enable the screen sharing function on your PlayStation 5 and inviting the friend with whom you want to use this system to play a game or play a match to the party in local coop. By following all the steps in the guide mentioned above, you should find yourself in the party screen, within which you can see the "Screen Sharing | Share Play ". Click on this item with the two small icons by pressing the X button and select "Start Share Play": you will find yourself choosing between the option of letting the other player control or playing together. Select the first item if you want your friend to be free to try your game (which therefore does not have to be present in his physical or digital library), instead choose the second if you want to play together with a cooperative title that does not have online functionality (e.g. Overcooked).

Before you start using Share Play, however, some clarifications must be made. The player who cedes control of their console must be a PlayStation Plus subscriber, but the player who plays remotely does not necessarily have to be subscribed to the service unless you decide to play together. Furthermore, since this is a system sensitive to connection drops, it is advisable that both players have a wired and stable connection, as the wi-fi could create some small lag problems.
