The Threadripper Pro 5995WX sets a new record in Cinebench R23

The Ryzen Threadripper Pro processors of the 5000WX series, designed for workstations and direct rivals of the Intel Xeon W, are based on the Zen 3 architecture, offering an IPC level improvement of 19% over the previous generation Threadripper Pro, which still used Zen 2 cores. The flagship model, Threadripper Pro 5995WX, equipped with 64 cores and 128 threads, certainly provides high computing power for professionals and recently reached a new record in Cinebench R23.

Indeed , as reported by HXL, the well-known TSAIK overclocker has brought the processor up to the frequency of 5.15GHz thanks to a liquid nitrogen cooling system. This allowed the CPU to score 116,142 points in Cinebench R23's multicore test, effectively setting the current world record and beating the previous title holder, Splave with its 64-core 5.23GHz Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, by 10%. .
