New spin-off coming for the manga of The Knights of the Zodiac
Little information has been leaked regarding the spin-off. We know that it will be titled Saint Seiya: Kaiō Saiki - Rerise of Poseidon and that it will be published in the next issue of Champion RED magazine, on September 16th.The Saint Seiya franchise
Kurumada published the original Saint Seiya manga from 1986 to 1990. The manga inspired anime, OVA, anime films and manga spin-offs including Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō, the all-female spin-off, published in Italy by Planet Manga. The latter inspired a 10-episode anime, created by the animation studio Gonzo in collaboration with Toei Animation, directed by Masato Tamagawa and available on Crunchyroll.The sequel to Saint Seiya, Saint Seiya - Next Dimension published from 27 April 2006 on the pages of Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion magazine, is available in Italy thanks to the J-POP publishing house since 2010 with the title I Knights of the Zodiac - Saint Seiya Next Dimension - Legend of the King of the Underworld.
Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiy a, the CGI remake based on the original manga, premiered worldwide in July 2019 while Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac - Battle for Sanctuary, the second season is available from July 31 on Crunchyroll.
