Minisforum has just launched its new Elitemini B550 mini-PC, the new model offers two options regarding the CPU, as well as support for dedicated mid-range GPUs, up to 64GB of RAM and more.

As the name suggests, the new system is based on AMD's B550 chipset, with which you can choose between Ryzen 7 4700G (with base frequency of 3.6 GHz and maximum of 4.4 GHz) or Ryzen 7 5700G (base 3, 8 GHz and maximum 4.6 GHz). It will be possible to update the CPU thanks to the AM4 socket, installing any model with a 65W TDP; therefore, Ryzen 7 5800X or Ryzen 9 5900X and 5950X, which have a higher TDP, will not be supported.

Elitemini B550 has ports only on the back, the equipment offers 2 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort, 4 USB 3.2, 1 USB Type-C, 1 Ethernet 2.5 Gigabit, 1 audio output for headphones or speakers and 1 input for a microphone. Minisforum also includes a handy carrying case, which allows you to easily carry the mini PC around.

The model is priced starting at $ 499 (€ 453) if you choose AMD Ryzen 7 4700G, while with Ryzen 7 5700G the base figure will increase to $ 599 (€ 544). Below are the various configurations available and their price:
