Ryzen 7 5800X3D, here's the first review: the new top to play?

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, here's the first review

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is now close to official launch. The new CPU with 3D V-Cache technology had already appeared in some benchmarks published by XanxoGaming, which gave us an advance of a comparison with the Intel Core i9-12900KF on Shadow of Tomb Raider, which saw the new Ryzen as the winner.

XanxoGaming has finally released the full benchmarks, expected in the last few hours. The test configuration of both CPUs again includes the 3080 Ti and 32GB (4 × 8) of 3200MHz DDR4 CL14 RAM. The tests were performed on Windows 10 21H2 with 11 different titles, at resolutions of 720p and 1080p. It should be noted that the use of Windows 10 penalizes the Intel processor, since, as we know, the hybrid architecture is designed to work in harmony with Windows 11, the most recent version of the Microsoft operating system.

In any case, the published benchmarks give us a first idea of the performance level of Ryzen 7 5800X3D, pending the official launch which will take place only in just over a week. To draw conclusions, however, we will have to wait for other independent reviews and to have it in our hands, in order to carry out the various benchmarks of the case.
