Cooler Master renews its case for Raspberry Pi

A couple of years ago, Cooler Master, a company known above all for the production of chassis and accessories related to the PC world, decided to make its entry also in the field of cases for the popular Single Board Computer Raspberry Pi with Cooler Master Pi 40. It was an aluminum case that provided passive cooling to bring down the temperatures of the SoC and not incur a decrease in performance due to Thermal Throttling.



Photo Credit: Cooler Master A apparently, the company thought that the time was now ripe for a new version of its case, renamed Cooler Master Pi 40 V2, designed for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and able, as before, to passively dissipate heat thanks to the its aluminum construction. Its dimensions are 96 × 68.2 × 28.58mm and it provides easy access to the SD card slot, video outputs, camera, audio jacks and GPIO header.
