Spider-Man Remastered now supports the transfer of saves from PS4 to PS5
They had promised and kept their word. With a new update for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, the guys at Insomniac Games have enabled the transfer of saves from the original PlayStation 4 version to the PS5 remaster. To this end, both editions of the game have been updated.

The development team has not yet issued an official release, but on ResetEra, players claim to have downloaded a new patch for the PlayStation 4 edition of Marvel's Spider-Man, which brings it to version 1.19. Updating the game on PS4 is essential as it introduces a new function in the save menu that allows you to upload your game data. Similarly, the installation of the patch 1.001.000 for Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 is required, which implements the download function of the aforementioned save. All previously won trophies are automatically unlocked on PS5 once the transfer is complete. If the requirements are met, the new Remastered exclusive trophies are also unlocked.

One player points out that if you want, you can also do everything from PlayStation 5, since Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider- Man Remastered can be installed simultaneously on Sony's next-gen console. The two games, remember, are separate, and there is no free upgrade from PS4 to PS5. We also add that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is not sold individually, and can only be obtained through an upgrade of Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales for PS5 or by purchasing the Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
