PUBG Mobile unveils 2021 esports plans with the richest prize pool in history
It seems to be the highest prize pool in the history of mobile esports, the one announced in conjunction with the reveal of the PUBG Mobile 2021 export program at the opening of the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), a world event that alone puts 2 million dollars on the plate .

After an exceptional year that broke all records, the 2021 program will therefore be even richer. It will introduce seven new regions for the PUBG MOBILE Pro League: CIS (Russia and satellite republics), Turkey, Western Europe, Arabia, North America, Latin America and Brazil, which will complement existing PMPLs in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Similar to this year, the newly revealed 2021 schedule will split PMCOs and PMPLs into two seasons, with the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) at the end of the year. Registration for the PMCO Spring Split will open on January 1, 2021 and close on January 24. There will also be the PUBG MOBILE Invitational which takes place in the summer.

"2020 has been an incredibly special year for us as we have expanded and completed our ecosystem to cover everything from amateurs to pro players, but this was just the beginning. We have huge ambitions: we want to break the boundaries of mobile esports and we want to become the number one export, "said James Yang. "The huge increase in the prize pool is representative of the growth we anticipate in 2021. In the western regions in particular there is huge room for expansion and I couldn't be more excited about PUBG MOBILE's future esports."
