Destiny 2, the madness of cheaters who want to work with Bungie

Destiny 2

Not only did they risk ruining the Destiny 2 experience for many users. Now, the cheaters known as AimJunkies have stated that Bungie should hire him. No, we're not kidding: after being right by the US Court, which declared that its creation was original and did not infringe the copyright of the game, now the author thinks he should work together with the development team.

The story is decidedly absurd and shows how in reality the laws that protect the world of video games are anchored to far too old beliefs, where only copyright infringement and the distribution of pirated software are recognized. Now, after winning a part of the lawsuit against Bungie, the cheaters have specifically asked to be hired on the development team or at least to collaborate. An absurd request, which however has its own logic, at least in the statements of AimJunkies.| ); }
We are obviously mad. At least for now, Bungie is unlikely to want to partner with Aimjunkies. Despite this, the statement still makes you smile. Aimjunkies is certainly a collective made up of talented programmers, who, however, to be hired somewhere should at least avoid engaging in criminal behaviors that can undermine gaming experiences.

The ‘Destiny 2’ Exotics To Watch With Huge New Season 18 Buffs Coming

Destiny 2

Bungie

Yesterday we had a new TWAB from Bungie, and despite them previously saying that we would hear relatively little about Destiny 2 season 18 before the August 23rd showcase, that does not extend to sandbox changes, and there were a lot of pretty massive ones that were showcased in the post. That included a number of exotics that are getting either reworks, or special bonuses to make them more relevant and powerful.

Here's everything you need to know about what’s about to be really key to keep an eye on, and try out in new Destiny 2 builds:

Le Monarque – While you may be used to this annoying you in PvP, this has long been one of my favorite PvE weapons, especially after the 40% damage to minors buff that exotic primaries got to make them more relevant. I already use this in high level content somewhat frequently, but now the bonus here is that Le Monarque is going to be permanently an anti-Overload weapon. While that would be cool at baseline, for Le Monarque it’s even more significant because the poison ticks will usually trigger multiple overload procs on those enemies, meaning you can chain stun them with constant poisoning shots. Incredible, and this is going to be an absolute monster now, regardless of what seasonal mods are or are not active.

Thunderlord

Bungie

Thunderlord – This is also getting anti-Overload, and you can combine that with the fact that A) machine guns just got a pretty solid PvE buff this past season and B) we are heading into Arc 3.0 where having arc weapons on you is probably going to be very helpful for various boosts and triggers. I am half expecting there to be a Thunderlord catalyst at least next season as well, given the fact that it’s been spotlighted by this change.

Bungie

Destiny

Wish-Ender – One of the forever fan-requested changes to Wish-Ender was to give it intrinsic anti-Barrier, based on the nature of the weapon, and guess what? That’s exactly what they’re doing. However, unlike the first two, Wish-Ender is also getting other buffs, including increased its multitarget hit from 2 to 3, increased damage against champions, majors and minibosses, and slightly decreased draw time. I’m certainly going to try it again.

Legend of Acrius – While I don’t know if this change will be quite as significant as the others, Bungie is giving it Trench Barrel for an extra boost when you have its catalyst, so that’s something at least.

Destiny 2

Bungie

Lord of Wolves – Bungie wants to nerf this in PvP and buff it in PvE, which involves decreased burst size and burst delay, but with a 20% damage buff in PvE, which in addition to other recent PvE shotgun buffs, may prove to be a tipping point moment for its usefulness in that mode.

Collective Obligation – This is getting a sprawling rework because Bungie realized it was a little too clunky in its current form in PvE. Void Leech is now 15 seconds long and easier to charge. You also get a 20% damage buff in PvE when Void Leech is active. Kills against debuff targets instantly charge Void Leech, and so do void debuffs on your character. In short, more Void Leech, better Void Leech.

Destiny 2

Bungie

Karnstein Armlets/Necrotic Grip – Okay so these are exotic Warlock arms, not weapons, but they will now synergize with all glaives, which is…pretty insane. Karnstein will mean constant healing/recovery on any melee kill with the glaive. Necrotic glaives will be able to kill enemies with AOE poison explosions (mark my words, Necrotic Grip will also synergize with the new Lightfall subclass someday). I’m not including ACD/O Feedback Fence in here, but that will work too, I just don’t think it’s quite as nuts because it requires you getting meleed by an enemy, and I don’t love relying on enemy AI to do what you want when you want it.

It's not everything (Fighting Lion, Dead Man’s Tale have some changes coming too), but it’s a lot, and a whole lot of big buffs on the way. Cannot wait.
