Will Street Fighter 6 with modern controls be too easy?

It's been months since the very first announcement of Street Fighter 6 and by now we have been able to see the next great Capcom fighting game multiple times. The sixth chapter of the historic franchise stands as a new generation for the brand, and together with its usual unmistakable style, we have already glimpsed a series of innovations that we can't wait to try. Among these we know that the game will offer a modern control system, but this could lead to lowering of the difficulty, or maybe not.

The director of Street Fighter 6 Takayuki Nakayama during a recent interview with the Game Informer editorial team. Although many fans immediately became concerned about these new 'modern' control systems, the game director wanted to ensure that this new possibility added to the game will not make it easier. "I'm not an easy way", Nakayama explicitly stated during the interview.

As the director of Street Fighter 6 himself pointed out, the implementation of this modern control system is simply one more addition to be given to the players, who will be free to choose how to play the next highly anticipated one chapter of the Capcom fighting franchise. At the moment we don't know exactly when the new Street Fighter will be released, but we are aware that the game will arrive in the course of 2023 on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S and PC platforms.
