AMD challenges NVIDIA RTX Voice with Noise Suppression

Available for some time, RTX Voice is a technology from NVIDIA, initially planned as an exclusive feature for the RTX series of graphics cards in order to improve audio communication by reducing unwanted background noise in a smart way using artificial intelligence. NVIDIA had claimed that the software used the built-in Tensor cores to accomplish this function and, consequently, it was only implementable on RTX graphics cards, but, later, it was discovered that a simple hack allowed it to be activated even on GPUs without Tensor Core. For this reason, the Californian company had decided to add support for RTX Voice on all graphics cards from the GTX 600 series up to the latest RTX 30 starting with the 410.18 drivers.
