New game is surprise announced for Xbox Game Pass

Quake II officially launches today on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, and is now available to play on Xbox Game Pass.

The game is coming out for R$29.99 on all platforms. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to enjoy this Quake II remaster at no additional cost and is included in the service.

This remaster brings the original experience with improved visuals. The game features widescreen support, running at 1080p at 60fps on last-gen and with native 4K and 120fps on current-gen consoles.

The Quake II remaster features the original's single-player campaign , in addition to expansions, multiplayer maps and the included Nintendo 64 port. Players will also have a brand new expansion to enjoy, Call of the Machine, developed by MachineGames.

Quake II can be enjoyed in online co-op or split-screen. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag modes are also available for up to 16 players online. In addition, it is possible to play with players from other platforms, with support for crossplay between PC (controller only) and consoles.

The Quake II remaster is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately the game does not have a Portuguese localization.
